The great thing about being a wedding photographer is that no two days are the same and that many of our clients consider us their photographer for a lifetime. We have the opportunity to document the most incredible moments in peoples' lives and have the opportunity to develop relationships with couples that last for years and years.
Congratulations Brandi and Toby and thank you so much for the chance to hold your beautiful little girl! You make my heart melt.

(03.04.10 @ 11:06 AM)Brandi & Toby recently hired us to document their maternity session. They are absolutely beside themselves with excitement for the arrival of their little girl Lilly. And quite frankly, we can't wait either!! Once Lilly arrives, we will update the blog with Lilly's first ever photo session.
Oh my goodness Paul! We absolutely love the photos. This session turned out to be just as amazing and incredible and emotional as our engagement session. This is something we have waited for for a long time, and to be able to capture the happiness and joy that Toby and I are experiencing right now is so special to us! Thank you for everything, your professionalism, your eye for the right poses, your semetry :) and your understanding for how very special these photos will be to us for the rest of our lives! We can't thank you enough!
(02.23.10 @ 05:27 PM)During the engagement session, I learned a few fun facts about Liz and James. Liz's dad is a wedding photographer and when Liz was younger, she used to assist him on weddings. I wish I had a few of my old film backs to hand her -- just for good measure. Of course, shooting digital means that that whole process of loading film backs is essentially obsolete. But, more than anything, Liz can really appreciate what it takes to capture good photos. As we strolled through downtown Portland, I suggested that we get a picture of the two of them by the famous Portland sign on Broadway. Since they live up in Seattle, I thought it would be pretty neat to have something that is very Portland specific. As we approached the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, James mentioned that his father plays in the Oregon symphony. Wouldn't it be cool if the Oregon symphony played at your wedding?!?!? Anyway, the location has special significance to James and his family because his father plays concerts there.
Thanks Liz and James for coming down from Seattle for your engagement session. I really enjoyed spending time with the two of you and am so excited for your wedding in July.
Beautiful, as always Paul! I love shooting in that area - so many great spots!!!!!
(02.16.10 @ 10:19 AM)Someone sent us this link. We would like to know which players son this is, so we can congradulate him. Can you tell me his last name?
(02.17.10 @ 09:51 AM)This year's Valentine's Ball was a huge fund raising success with both live and silent auctions. One of the most popular bidding items was a date for 2 with Portland Trailblazer Rudy Fernandez. As the auctions came to a close, DJ Yaz and DJ Royale kicked the party into high gear getting everyone to celebrate an early Valentine's Day out on the dance floor. Thank you all for coming out and supporting this wonderful cause.
