Jen & Dom | November 11, 2017

I began exploring Portland wedding photography back in 2005 and officially launched Paul Rich Studio in the summer of 2007.  It was an extremely exciting time in my life as I faced the exhilarating challenges of launching a business.  I knew that in order to be successful, I had to establish good solid relationships with vendors in the wedding industry.  It meant going out of my way to help others promote their own businesses.  It meant consistently providing a reliable and reputable service.  And it meant networking.  A lot.

One of the earlier relationships that I fostered as a Portland wedding photographer was with Jen, now co-owner of Barclay Events.  We attended many networking events and certainly worked on a number of weddings together as well.  We’ve grown to know each other both personally and professionally.  When the opportunity came to photograph her own wedding, I was absolutely thrilled.

Being that Jen has been in the Portland wedding industry for many years, she, like myself, knows a lot of extremely talented wedding professionals.  It was an honor to work alongside all the vendors she chose for her wedding.

Jen and Dom chose District East for their wedding ceremony and reception.  The venue was filled with elegant uplighting by our friends over at Greenlight Creative.  Crystal Lilies provided all the floral for both the ceremony and the reception.  Crave Design masterfully created the stationery for the tables and Alesia Zorn Lettering Art put her signature touches on the guest book.   Family style dinner service was provided by Premiere Catering with decadent chocolates delicately placed at each table setting by A Yen for Chocolate.         Great Beginnings DJ Service provided the thumping beats for the evening while My Bartender provided exceptional liquid catering to keep the party going.

Jen and Dom’s wedding day was thoroughly documented by Paul Rich Studio and Jonathan with Atelier Pictures.  Both photography and videography services were provided.

Congratulations to Jen and Dom.  Here are just a few of the many highlights from their wedding celebration.
