We had the honor of photographing Kimberly and Brian’s wedding at the Evergreen Chapel on May 7, 2016. I have worked with Kimberly on a number of photography projects for Bridgeport Village over the years so it was a real treat to capture her wedding day.
Brian and his groomsmen got ready at the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum and then walked over to the Evergreen Chapel. Kimberly and Brian had their first moment together along a tree lined pathway that gave the perfect amount of privacy and the perfect backdrop for photos.
When planning for their wedding, Kimberly and Brian knew that they were going to have a get-away vehicle for their departure to the reception but they weren’t quite sure how to make the transition from the ceremony to the reception for their guests. I suggested the idea of a bubble send off where guests would line up along the entry to the chapel and blow bubbles. Kimberly and Brian could then walk through the tunnel of bubbles, hop in their car, and take off for the reception making the entire experience fun and interactive for the guests. It was an extremely fun highlight to the day and Kimberly even got to blow bubbles from the car as they drove off.
Stacey from Red Shoe Productions did a wonderful job coordinating the day. Everything flowed together seamlessly. One of our favorite DJs in Portland, Event Team Entertainment kept the dance floor active and the party rocking. Guests had a wonderful time and Kimberly and Brian were able to relax and enjoy their special day surrounded by their closest friends and family members.
