Champagne Wedding & Events | Party Concepts

Mandi with Champagne Wedding & Events recently gave a presentation at the Multnomah Athletic Club on ideas and things to consider when hosting your own event or party.  Her staff of coordinators presented 4 different event concepts with creative ideas and tips on how to throw a successful gathering of guests.

For a wedding table design, Mandi discussed the elegance and simplicity in using white.  This under-stated color choice can be accentuated with little punches of color in the choice of chair sashes, napkins, and other detail elements.  The table display included butterfly accents that referenced the wildly popular phrase “Put a Bird On It” by the local tv series Portlandia.

To appease the man in your life, a guy’s party theme was discussed.  Whether it’s poker night or watching a game, having plenty of finger food, cigars, and whiskey is a must.  Have these items available, and typically the party will take care of itself.

Hosting an event to celebrate the arrival of a newborn?  Check out Champagne’s Sip & See Concept.  This is designed for the parents of a new baby or for close friends and family to put together some food and drinks for the guests to come during a designated time to meet the new baby!  Ideas include using items from the nursery to decorate!  For a baby shower, consider incorporating the mom-to-be’s favorite childhood author or colors from the nursery, etc!

How about a Ladies Night In?  Making sangria, indulging in delicious appetizers, laughing, and sharing recipes.  This is a great way to connect with old friends or to expand your social circle and meet new friends.

Mandi offered wonderful suggestions and creative ideas to all of the guests who attended the event at the Multnomah Athletic Club.  She also offered a follow-up step-by-step guide on how to make some of the elements she showcased during her presentation.  To access some of her wonderful ideas, head on over to the Champagne Wedding & Events Blog.

Thank you to Mandi & Rachelle with Champagne Wedding & Events for the opportunity to document the event as well as Jordan with Blum for providing the floral, The Party Place for all the rentals, and Paper Source for the paper products.
