Angela & Ryan | December 4, 2010

When you have a wedding party that consists of 11 bridesmaids, 11 groomsmen, and 3 flower girls, you know you are in for one heck of a party.  And a party it was…

The day began with the men getting ready at the Governor Hotel while the women did hair and make up at Robert’s of Portland.  Everything was going along smoothly when all of a sudden, the men realized that they didn’t quite know how to tie a bow tie.  The iPhones came out and everyone started searching YouTube.  There are instructional videos for sure, but man we just couldn’t quite figure it out.  Thank goodness for Collier’s right across the street.  They helped all the guys get their bow ties on with plenty of time for the wedding.

The men and the women descended upon St Mary’s Cathedral for the wedding ceremony.  With the assistance of Andrea who provided Ladies in Waiting Service and Marilyn and her staff with Portland Wedding Planner, Inc, everything was ready and set to go.  Jordan with Blum Design in Flowers created incredible floral accents throughout.  Heather with Hybrid Moon captured the entire ceremony on video while we captured stills from multiple locations throughout the church.  The couple exited the church surrounded by guests who were waving lit sparklers in celebration.  The couple rode off to the reception in the Best Car in Town’s 1947 Silver Wraith Rolls Royce Limousine.

The couple went straight into their first dance after being announced into the reception with music being played by Eric with All Wright Music.  Naturally, the dance floor stayed jam packed all evening long.  Table signs, seating cards, and cupcake flavor signs were all hand-written by the amazingly talented Alesia Zorn Calligraphy.  Cupcake Jones provided the scrumptious cupcakes and Beaverton Bakery provided the wedding cake.  Thank you to all the vendors who made the wedding day a smashing success and thank you to both Leah Nash and Evrim Icoz for providing additional photography coverage with me throughout the day.
