Fernanda & Markus | July 11, 2015

The Ponzi Historic Estate is a stunningly beautiful location for an intimate wedding celebration.  Old vines descend off into the distance and beautiful fir trees can be seen throughout the property.  It makes for an exquisite backdrop.

The story of how Fernanda, Markus, and I met is a fun one.  They hired Emee with EJP Events to coordinate their wedding.  Fernanda is from Brazil.  Markus is from Germany.  Emee recommended our services to them for wedding photography but at the time I was traveling overseas in New Zealand.  Fernanda and Markus had an opportunity to view our wedding portfolios at The Bridal Loft and very much wanted to chat in person.  So we coordinated our schedules, if I recall I was about 17 hours ahead, and we chatted by Skype.  We discussed the flow of their day and what they were wanting in terms of wedding photography coverage.  We scheduled a time to meet in person once I got back into the US and we had an opportunity to connect at the Ponzi Historic Estate just days before their actual wedding celebration.  I was in awe of the setting and really excited to be chosen to document their wedding.

With just 12 of their closest friends and family members, Fernanda and Markus exchanged their vows and were officially married on July 11, 2015.  Additional Bridal Loft members who assisted in Fernanda & Markus’ wedding celebration include: floral design by Gifford Flowers, wedding dress alterations by Custom Fit to You, and a custom veil by August Veils.  It was extremely fun having the opportunity to work with may of my peers at the Bridal Loft and to document such a momentous occasion of two families meeting for the first time here in the US.

Congratulations to Fernanda, Markus, and their incredibly cute daughter.  🙂

Mistyrose & Keith | July 4, 2015

Mistyrose & Keith held their wedding day celebration at Veelle’s Idyllic Park in Molalla, OR.  Close friends and family members gathered around underneath a canopy of trees to witness the couple exchange their wedding vows.  With a rustic saloon used for serving drinks, a covered pavilion area for the reception, and shabby chic details throughout, Mistyrose and Keith created the perfect setting for their wedding day.

To honor the 4th of July holiday and their guests’ schedules, the couple concluded their wedding celebration in time for everyone to head off to see fireworks.  We re-connected with the couple in Canby to witness a fantastic fireworks display.  We had front row seats for the fireworks display and used the opportunity to capture some incredibly fun photos of the couple enjoying their first day as husband and wife.

Here are some of our favorite highlights from Mistyrose & Keith’s wedding:
