Emily’s 6 Month Session

We were so excited when Diana and Bryan signed on for our Baby’s First Year package.  It includes a maternity session in addition to a newborn, 6 month, and 12 month session.  It is an incredible way to document your child’s first year.  They grow so fast and so much changes in the first year.

Emily is certainly no exception.  One of the things I cherish most about her is her smile and of course her wild and crazy hair!  Oh my goodness she is just the cutest.  Couple that with some really cute outfits and you have a portrait session that is not to be missed.

Pro Photo Suppy Photography Contest

Pro Photo Supply is Portland’s go to location for everything photography and video related.  It is our version of a candy store.

They recently began hosting a monthly photo contest through Facebook and announce the winners on their blog.  We were informed yesterday that we won for the month of December.  The theme for the contest was “Holidays.”  While documenting a Santa’s Workshop event at The Oregon Garden, we captured a fun photo of a little girl’s expression once she finally got to sit with Santa.

To read more about how the image was captured, make sure to check out the Pro Photo Blog.

My Portland Photographer

We have been a proud member of My Portland Photographer for a number of years now and are really excited about some forthcoming announcements from the group.  We have been working diligently to make the site a great resource for prospective brides and grooms.

A recent development for our group is a new logo and site design.  For those of you who have been following along over the years, you will notice that the new site looks quite a bit different.  We opted for a cleaner more simple look and added in a logo that is a bit more fun and candid.

We personally contribute to the blog every Tuesday.  The expectation in the group is to post a single photo each week and provide a bit of the background story for the image.  We feel as though it is a way to get to know each of us on a more personal level.  It becomes a bit of an insight into how we think and how we capture all the beautiful images you see posted on the blog day after day.

We hope to keep it interesting enough that even after you are married, you are still inspired to check back every once-in-awhile and see some incredible wedding imagery.

Here is a visual of the newly designed My Portland Photographer site with our weekly post up and ready to be viewed.  Happy Tuesday!
