Baby Kaiya | 1 Year Session

Kindel flew out from NY to celebrate her daughter’s first birthday with her family.  Baby Kaiya is quite the traveler these days and she was very excited to spend some time with her cousins.  Days after her first birthday, she came up to our new studio for a portrait session.  It sounds like Kindel and her husband Will plan to bring Kaiya back out for another visit a bit later this year.  We hope to catch up with the entire family during their next visit.  Here are some of our favorites from Kaiya’s 1 year session:

Nice work!

New Portrait Studio

We are very excited to announce the latest expansion of Paul Rich Studio.  As many of you already know, we have two meeting locations for our wedding business.  The Bridal Loft is our primary office in Portland and we also have a secondary meeting location in Silverton at Branches & Bloom.  We now additionally have a portrait studio in Portland on the corner of 5th and SE Ash.  It is fully equipped with backdrops, various props, and beautiful natural light.

To celebrate the opening of our new portrait studio, we are hosting an incredible portrait special throughout the month of January.  There are only a few spots remaining, so make sure to contact us right away.  All of the details can be found in our monthly newsletter.  We hope to see you at the studio soon!

The Voelker Family

The Voelkers are regulars at Paul Rich Studio.  We photographed Dana & Steven’s wedding as well as their newborn session just months ago.  We also photographed Ryan & Janefer’s Portland reception at Urban Studio as well as their engagement session.  Then, as the holidays approached, Dana & Steven contacted us about doing a portrait session as a gift to Steven’s mom.  With the 3 Voelker siblings in town, it was the perfect opportunity to get everyone together.  The portrait session was done at our brand new studio in SE Portland.  Here are some highlights from the session:

Elizabeth & Nathan | December 17, 2011

It has been such a pleasure working with Liz & Nathan throughout the last year in preparation for their big wedding day.  I always look forward to weddings in December because they are so unique and oftentimes incorporate elements of the holiday season.  Liz & Nathan were married at the elegant  Hotel Vintage Plaza in downtown Portland.  Their ceremony was held in the intimate setting of the Wine Cellar Room with Roger Moore officiating.

Preparations for the women began with makeup by Nicole Wagner with Powder, Inc.  Then, with Susan and her assistant from Blush Bridal Consultation Group at the helm, everything flowed seamlessly.   It maximized our time with the couple and allowed us to document away the entire evening.  Floral accents throughout the ceremony and reception were provided by Kevan Inouye Private Florist.  Guests were treated to an incredible dining experience with Pazzo Ristorante providing the catering.

Congratulations to Liz & Nathan who recently returned from their honeymoon in Maui!
