Here is a bit of humor we thought we would share during the busy wedding season. A friend of mine passed this link along to me, and I just had to share. This is a great example of why we do site reviews with all of our couples just prior to the wedding day — to avoid mistakes like these…

We met up with Krista & Eric & Eric’s son Zach at the Hoyt Arboretum for the couple’s engagement session. The weather was absolutely perfect and punctuated with some really nice late day sun. Zach was a total ham and really enjoyed having his picture taken. I am looking forward to seeing him as well as Krista & Eric on August 21, 2010 at the RiverPlace Hotel for the couple’s wedding day.

What a fab idea!
Luciana & Ryan were on the serious hunt for a wedding photographer when they learned of our work through Jacquelyn at New & Blue. When we met with the couple, it was clear that we were a perfect match to work together. They were very excited about our photography and we were very excited to have the opportunity to work with them. When Luciana told her sister (who is also getting married this year) about our work, she too hired us for her wedding!! We are so excited to be a part of both of their wedding days.
Luciana & Ryan are getting married on August 14, 2010 at The Grotto and having their reception at The Tiffany Center. When the couple originally looked at our site and searched through various options for their engagement session, they emphatically decided upon our Cannon Beach Sunset Session. We waited for the best weather possible, and headed out to the beach for a late afternoon photo session. Here are some of our favorites from Luciana & Ryan’s engagement session:

Chrissy & Jake exchanged vows at Miller Hall by the World Forestry Center on June 19, 2010. Although there were times in the day when the skies looked as if it would rain, we were able to capture all the pictures we needed outdoors. The cloud cover made for an ideal temperature. Guests casually lingered outdoors on the terrace. Later into the evening, many were seen indulging in various cigars. A wonderful candy table was on display for guests to treat themselves to some sugary treats. It was a big hit — especially amongst the children.
At the conclusion of the evening, my associate Missy with Take 5 Photography and I grabbed the couple for some quick outdoor shots by the train.
